Saket was coordinating with me through out my journey and then finally I met my friend. :) Have never thought before that I could visit him in his home city and that too on my motorbike trip & that is what this trip is worth for.. :)
I dumped my bag pack in his car and he sat pillion on my bike and asked me to go first to their city's club.. Actually, he told about me and my trip to his entire family and few friends and it has been really special for all and they wanted to make it much special for me.. Hence, all the men in their big joint family, decided to welcome me in their City's club where they have arranged for Television & Newspaper editor for my interview.. YES - its true.. Next day, my article was in newspaper and my interview was flashing every hour in local channel.. :) Well, it has never been my intentions and trust me - the first feeling was bit embarrassing but the feelings and emotions of Saket and his family were so pure that I was later enjoying every bit of my stay.. it was almost like home away from home.. :)
After the warm welcome at club, I was taken to his home more like Mansion and very simple and humble people ... Saket's mother pampered me like her son and I really miss that love till today.. :)
Saket - took me to his city and then we have been to market for shopping for his new home they are building and finally he shown me his factory where they are making Coke from Coal and how it works.. :)
they had huge piles of coal and coke..
and these burners which heat coal at some 1000 or more degrees and then once burnt, they are taken out and cooled down..
And an interesting tree.. :)
Also, been to a local Maethan dam and finally back to home.. chit-chat with uncle and aunty (Saket's parents) and then it was time to bed since I was destined to leave Jharkhand and reach Bihar..
But, uncle turned on TV and shown me clippings of my interview :P
With blank mind, I chose to sleep as early as possible to take me out of this illusions of fame.. :P
Entire family get assembled to say good-bye and it was really tough to leave them all ..
And then it was time to move on..
Beautiful farms and that all full of cattles.. scenic to see and absolute rural to feel.. :)
Finally, I crossed the border and entered into state of Bihar :)
Actually, had no plans to spend any night in this state since I will do it later in my journey while I will go to east but I saw BODH GAYA (the place where Buddha got enlightenment) so it is just impossible to miss it.. :)
And finally, I reached the campus of Bodh Gaya.,, too many pilgrims from all across the world worshiping Buddha and may atleast few will be with the hope that they may get enlightenment aswell.. :)
Sooo. this is THAT tree.. :)
These footmarks are meant as - engraved foot of Buddha..
Flag of Buddhism..
Absolutely beautiful architecture and I will say precious heritage of india.. :)
And there are many temples of different countries and cultures all around.. Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Bangladesh ...
And then after roaming across all places I chose to leave.. Leave Bihar.. and move towards Uttar Pradesh (UP) ..
People sitting over the bus since all seats inside are occupied but still there was the room to not fit-in but fit-over the bus.. ;)
Beautiful hills..
and Green farms all on my way.. :)
And then it was evening and I have planned to reside in Varanasi.. holy city of Hindus and also Ganges river..
And also had one more intention.. My dearest pal from Norway, Valentyna was in India and if I couldnt make it that night to Varanasi then it was not possible for me to meet her.. but I met her and rest all story of UP I will tell in my next bloggggg.. sooooo keeep reading! :)
