Accomplished Karnataka :: Bangalore to Mangalore

Finally I came back to Bangalore.. Have had promised to meet Parth - young boy pursuing his bachelor degree in LAW,  my friend from Nagda - Kavin and his wife and I had yummy dinner with them at their home.. I kept my promise and it was time to start the motorbike trip which was on halt from past 15 days.. :) Now it shouldnt stop till 25th March when my another pal from Norway, Richard is coming on his trip to India...... Sooooo here we go soooo .... I am going to Mangalore.. a city which is on the border of Karnataka and Kerala..

Soooo I was intended to come out of the city first which was say 25km and then I got the highway.. destined to drive over 300 km and target was to reach before 1800 hours.. what a feeling?? :) woof! after such a long time..

Saw this funny advertisement on Tuk Tuk with big old day Speaker on its top - absolutely loud on already noisy roads.. ;)

After travelling a bit more - realised its exactly 321km.. well my old records says that I can achieve it but the roads should be cool.. and I didnt complained on my way.. :)

Was pretty hungry hence I treat myself with Plate Idly.. Idly - South Indian delicacy ,, and it was of the size of Plate.. :)

Famous Indian god - Hanuman.. there were big idols of him on all my way.. pretty colorful and gigantic..

Time for fruits break... :) farmers usually sell the fruits from their farms on the road sides for the on-goers.. Water-mellon, pumpkin, coconut,,

And honored to taste 100 percent pure coffee.. :) No additional flovors.. simply pure.. and I had it.. :) :)

And they all say that they are best and the tag line below the cup is actually the punch line "A LOT CAN HAPPEN OVER A CUP OF COFFEE" used by India's famous coffee chain called Caffe Coffee Day.. Now who is original - I dont know.. :) But this line is true ,, it reminds of my days in Norway when we had a coffee group in office and I was its administrator.. and we have had many things done over a cup of coffee.. :)

And this place is Saklespur..

And then I found gardens of Tea and they were selling fresh Garden tea.. time for another break.. :)

And beautiful hand-made regional decoratives..

Scenic views..

And finally found some fans of Enfield who has not been praised from long time.. :)

And amazing piece of architecture resembling God's home.. :)

It was dusk and kids were having their fun...

Finally I reached at the home of Shetty family.. :) referenced by my friend from Norway - Bipin.. and was staying at his wife's home.. :) caring, loving and entertaining people.. :)

I had lots of gossiping with them and next day early morning before leaving I was served with Home-made NEER DOSA .. Yummiest thing I had after long long time.. :)

And now I am excited to go to KERALA .. called as  - God's Own Country.. famous for greenary and receives many tourists every year in all months... :)
