Back to Chennai/ Bangalore :: Niece's bday in Indore :: Goodbye to Friends in Mumbai

After spending relaxing time in Andamans, my buddies chose to go to Goa but I have another plans,, We all landed at Chennai airport and they went in queue to their next flight to Goa and I was received by Himanshu (my best buddy staying in Chennai with his wife) - had lunch and chit-chat with him and Natasha and then he helped in boarding bus to Bangalore.. 17th Feb before it starts I was all destined to reach there to wish Happy Bday to Priya but shit happens and my bus got delayed 2 hours soooo no midnight surprise but later spend good time with her and her friends... We also had dinner and ofcorse cake cutting.. :) All were surprised to see my SUN-BURNT complexion which I havent noticed once.. but Yes I got pretty cooked..

Next day I have to reach Indore// 19th Feb - My Niece's birthday and more special about it was her FIRST BIRTHDAY :D .. and how can her UNCLE can miss it?? soooo I boarded the flight from Bangalore to Indore and it was time to get united with my family.. well not just family but in actuality our entire social group of family was invited in her birthday - say around 100 people.. We organised it in one of my family's farms.. cooking, sitting and eating arrangements all there in open air.. ;) I have really enjoyed it since its been soooo long time I have had that moment of disconnection from parties in pubs, clubs, malls and disco theques.. :P

So this is what we have done in morning... :)

Also, we have planned to worship our family and hence we offered our prayers in traditional way..

But Prisha might not be enjoying so much since she was surrounded with all elders soooo her mother has planned for something she could really be part of and enjoyyyyy.. KID PARTY.. :) all kids who of our locality to come home and play with her were invited and they all were angels.. in sometime our entire home was full of them and it was lively.. :)

My Mom in Green Saree in Center was sooo happy... she was the one who was pretty strict for letting me take this break from my trip and come home for this eve and its tough for me to say her NO.. spoiled Prince .. :)

Finally, we gave written gifts to all these beauties and I was just observing their joy.. wooooofff!!! we grown up so much these days that even most expensive gifts does not cause that smile of Satisfaction on our face but these kids with a small fancy cartoon wrapper were really happy, satisfied and NOT-COMPLAINING.. :P learnt something from them..

and this boy was my eye-candy .. the most naughty kid of the day award goes to him .. :P

Finally, it was time to say goodbye to family and now I was heading towards Mumbai to meet my Norwegians buddies and spend last 2 days with them and after that I dont know when could I meet them again.. sooooooo - I landed Mumbai and then party starts.. :) Delicate darlings were staying in 5 star hotel - one of the best one in Mumbai - Shangrila .. wooofff.. it was definitly fancy and lavish.. :) we had our first date in TGIF (Thank God its Friday - international chain) and made random plan of going to another pub cum disc - BLUE FROG .. there was a local band playing some music but it didnt last for more than 1 AM hence we chose to leave and meet next day by noon..

 was staying at Gogi's place with his friends.. and glad to meet Himanshu, Neha and Raj aswell and Yes a new face but can not recall her name..

And then we went for shoppingggg.. Rune really made me happy since he bought Kurta Pyjama and Stoll for him and Salwar-Kurta and Chunri for his wife.. :)

Mumbai is colorful city.. and I always love to visit there.. its just that you get use to too much traffic, honking and pollution and also liveliness.. once settled in Mumbai then its tough to go back anywhere.. :)

all across the Bandra Worli Sealink highway.. have been to Bandra for shopping of their family and I was at best of my bargaining skills.. ;)

And Leopold Cafe.. same place where Shantaram wrote his novel.. very much popular among foreigners in India as almost everybody has read it.. and also this place was affected during terrorist attack appened in Mumbai..

And I asked for TOWER of KINGFISHER.. :)

 

Some more local sight-seeing..

And Mumbai will never change it will always show its colors to all new-comers.. anybody who lost hope in life and really feeling lazy and disoriented.. I advice just stay in Mumbai for a month and live a life of a local.. you will sooon get your life back :D

Also, one night we have been to Hard Rock Cafe Mumbai.. actually it was a concert of Rolling Stones (not real one but local band playing their songs :D ) .. we met Abhishek and Divya there.. actually they fixed this plan for us and it was really great time together.. nice music, food, ambience and hell lot of chit chat..

Yes I am tooooo spoiled.. :D

And the moment came when a tear rolled out of my eye and I for one moment realised that - LET THEM GO, THEY HAVE STRINGS .. haha! and I smiled again., I am missing them all and I will really cherish those moments that we spent together.. :) Thanks to Terje, Marius and Rune for being here and its my honor to be your guide in my country..



Finally, they left from India and I left from Mumbai to Bangalore to pick my bike and start my motorbike journey again.. Now I have plan to complete Karnataka, Kerala, Kanyakumari, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa in nearest vicinity of my trip..5 states and 1 Union Territory..  :)
