Last Night Anubhav took me to Raipur - a street in Ahmedabad where I saw tens of thousands of people crowded to buy kites for Sankranti festival celebrated on 14th January :) we also bought kites aswell as thread which we call as MANZA with which kite is tied and then we can back home very late.. but woke early next morning to celebrate Kite festival .. Hurrayyy - I flew kite like more than 15 years back and now I experienced like back in teens :P Everybody was just on the terrace of their buildings or on the open grounds and flying kites.. and it is kind of competition that who is going to cut whose kite and the winner then blows a high volume whistle just to cherish his winning,, :P it wassss justttt sooooo much festive,,, :P Sharing some glimses
I enjoyed my UTTARAYAN and now it was a time to start my next journey.. Aunty has cooked delicious lunch for me and then after saying goodbye to beloved family and their beautiful home I headed towards Bhuj,, a long journey which started at noon and I knew it that I will be reach there by late evening.. But it was an interesting experince.. :)
We still have Camels used as means of transport and that too on National highway - surprising :P
Glad to see Wind mills as the source of energy generation on my way to Gandhidham - city on the midway to Bhuj
Have taken couple of breaks in my journey to strech my body and ofcorse tea ;) Best part - none has charged me money or I should say they offered in Tea .. after seeing this dress-up and a bit chit-chat, the great Gujarati hospitality spills out ,, some also offered me to visit their home on my way back,, mesmerising! ;)
Have got Maliya as a place in between where they produce SALT and it was what-a-view-Mannnn experience :)
And some more scenics on the way... temples, farms and ofcorse on one little vehicle - toooo many people... it portrays the country´s situation aswell that when you have less of space and too many people then none have good space for themselves.. unless you reserve it with more money.. not-good!
Finallyyyyy, reached Kutch and checked in at Bhuj.. :) Sleeping here tonight and then will go to Rann of Kutch i.e. White Desert, Kala Dungar and then will head towards JamNagar..
Time to pen-down - keep reading!! :) :)
